Eyes Enhancements
We offer a range of eyelash and brow tinting, tidying, perming and Eyelash Extension services that create just the right look to compliment and balance your facial features. We also offer a very popular anti-ageing eye and lip treatment that many clients like to combine with a facial for enhanced results.
Important: You will need to visit the salon for a patch test at least 48 hours prior to your first tinting or perming treatment to ensure no allergy exists. If you have had any known eye disorders in the past, please discuss this with the salon manager or therapist at the time of booking.

What are eyelash extensions?
Eye extensions are a new way to extend the length and thickness of your eyelashes. They should be applied on a hair-by-hair basis for a completely natural look.
Is it safe to get eyelash extensions and does it hurt?
Totally! Eyelash extensions are completely safe and completely painless.
You should not be able to feel your lashes once they are applied. If you can feel the weight of them on your eyelids you need to go back and see the beauty therapist who applied your eyelash extensions.
How long will eyelash extensions last?
The length of time that your eyelash extensions will last will depend on two things. Firstly, how well you follow the after-care instructions, and finally, the natural growth cycle of your own eyelashes. Your eyelash extensions can last anywhere from two weeks to two months.
Who are eyelash extensions good for?
Eyelash extensions are a great choice for most people. However if one or more of the following conditions alloy to you it is best to call and talk to the salon before purchase the appointment.
-
You rub your eyes frequently
-
You have highly sensitive skin
-
You are sick with a cold or similar or have allergies
-
You have no natural lashes
-
It is recommended that those with light lashes (particularly those with blonde lashes) get their lashes tinted before they have extensions applied to add intensity to the look. For information on eyelash tinting see our eyelash tinting.
How long does it take to get eyelash extensions applied?
The amount of time it takes to apply the extensions depends of lashes you are having applied. For instance a half set of extensions can take 20-45 minutes, but a full set of lashes can take 1hours. Ask us when you come in and we can give you the duration to complete the procedure.
The benefit of eyelash extensions is that you don't need to wear masacara! If you still feel that you need to, consult with your beauty therapist which ones are approarpatie to use. A lot of mascaras on the market (particularly waterproof mascaras) will dissolve the bonds between your extensions and natural eyelashes.
How much will it cost to have eyelash extension applied?
Eyelash extension prices vary, but they typically range from $79 $120 to to apply the lashes. After 2 or 3 weeks you will loose some of your lashes in their natural cycle, and this is when you will need to get your lashes retouched. Retouching or refills (which is recommended) is $50.
If you do not with to maintain your eyelashes anymore and instead remove them it is best to have it professionally remove. It is very important that you do NOT pull the lash extensions off, as you will pull your own lashes off! The removing service is easy and quite relaxing, and should only take about 15 - 30 minutes (at the most). The lashes will be soaked and slowly removed, before your natural lashes are conditioned. Remove prices range from $25.
Why is it important to maintain eyelash extensions?
You want to get the best out of your eyelash extensions, so to do that you need to take proper care of them. Just like you care for your skin and hair you need to care for your lashes so they continue to look their best.
Your eyelash extensions should be resistant to water, tears and steam from 24 hours after your application - so no swimming, showering, crying (no soppy movies!) or sauna's the day after your extensions are applied. It is best to avoid total submersion (swimming or saps) for up to 48 hours after you have your eyelash extension applied to allow for bonding to totally occur.
Be gentle with your lashes and avoid any oil-based products, and yes that means oil-free makeup remover!
It is best to get your lashes maintained every 2-5 weeks, though of course this does depend on your natural lash cycle.
Are there different sizes of eyelash extensions?
Yes there are! Your beauty therapist should consult with you on which sizes you are interested in and which ones will work best for you. Eyelash extensions vary in thickness, size etc - we stock alot of sizes and lenght. You may choose to have a set of the same applied, or choose a mix of lengths/thickness for a more feathery look. Talk to your beauty therapist about what you want.
